The B&B Terre Dipinte is located in the heart of Salerno’s historical centre, in a limited traffic zone (ZTL), near the most active part of the city where can be found many stores such as mini-markets, laundries, hair salons, newsagents but also restaurants, tourist destinations, etc.etc.
Despite being in the center, the property is locaded in a quiet and strategic position to practice several routes of urban and sub-urban trekking, some of which, described in the tab “EXPERIENCES“.
On foot, it is also possible to visit many historical, artistic and cultural sites offered by the city like the “Minerva Gardens”, “Palazzo Fruscione”, the church of “S. Pietro a Corte”, the “Duomo”, and many other small medieval churches that dot the center of Salerno.
For those who then want to visit places, definited by UNESCO:”World Heritage”, more distant as Pompei, Naples, Paestum, the Amalfi coast and the Royal Palace of Caserta, you can use the links offered by land and sea lines located a short distance.
The railway station, located in Vittorio Veneto square, it’s about a 20 minute walk from the B&B. Or as an alternative it’s possible to use buses (n. 4,5,6 and 9) or to take a taxi, until Roma street number 228. Who comes to Salerno by his own vehicle will be able to park in Roma street (€2 per hour or fraction), a few steps away from the B&B or to use local garages, view the “INFO” sheet.
For those who opt for a stay of pure relaxation the location of the hotel is ideal as it is just a few meters from the beach of Santa Teresa, the shopping streets of the city and the gastronomic places that characterize the alleys of the historic center.
The position of the B&B is also ideal for to participate in the variety of events that are organized in the different periods of the year in the city, described in the tab “EVENTS“, first of all “Luci d’artista” during the Christmas holidays, or the “Mostra della Minerva” and the “Fiera del Crocifisso” in spring, and the feast of the patron saint St. Matthew in September.
